UK Wildlife Photography Safari – A Revelation!
Category: UK Wildlife Photography Safari
On a UK wildlife photography safari we give familiar British wildlife species exactly the same star photography treatment we may be tempted to save for lions, tigers or bears. They respond by being absolute superstars in return!
This summer I've had the chance to spend much more time with UK wildlife. It's been hugely rewarding, and the photographic opportunities absolutely brilliant.

· Scottish Highlands
- Isle of Mull
Learn Film Making On A UK Wildlife Photography Safari / Workshop
If you're an aspiring wildlife film maker a UK wildlife photography safari is perfect - many are crammed with exceptional filming opportunities and plenty of time to practice.
As a BBC trained film maker I'm more than happy to include video tuition on almost all of my photography safaris, or run a special workshop for you dedicated to film production.
More Advantages Of A UK Wildlife Photography Safari
Supporting conservation and save money:
Wildlife Trusts, National Trust or WWT membership often entitles you to free or reduced entry to our shooting locations, such as the Farne Islands, and your membership supports wildlife conservation all year round.
Great for photographers:
Specialist hides around the UK give unrivalled access to a wide range of wild species. On some workshops individual animals are part of rescue, re-homing and reintroduction programmes, which you support by visiting. The fact these animals are slightly habituated also makes for enhanced photography opportunities, and a particularly good learning environment. For instance there is always another chance to see them, unlike in the wild where you may never spot the bird or animal again if you’ve fluffed your first shot!
Better For The Planet
No need to get on a plane for these workshops - arrive by public transport and I'll always help you with transfers, or bring a friend and car share :)
Support local economies and community
Stay in locally run guesthouse accommodation with delicious locally sourced British food.
