Mar 27: (Sat) on arrival at Delhi international airport (morning arrival assumed) you will be met and transferred to Agra (a journey of approximately 5 hours), stopping to visit Akbar’s Mausoleum at Sikandra with the opportunity to photograph blackbuck antelope, chital and monkeys in the grounds. Check in to ‘Jaypee Palace’ for your overnight stay
Mar 28: (Holika Dahan) early start for a sunrise viewing of the Taj Mahal (*closed Fridays), this is the quietest time to visit, staying for a guided tour before returning to your hotel for breakfast. Later you will be taken for a guided tour including Agra Fort and Itimad-ud-daulah, with a boat trip on the Yamuna and finishing with a visit to the Mehtab Bagh (moonlight garden) in order to view the Taj Mahal from the opposite bank as dusk falls
Mar 29: Today is Holi and we go very early morning to around 11:00 depending on how it evolves and security of the group
Mar 30: morning free for your choice of activities, for example a visit to either the nearby Sloth Bear or Elephant sanctuary run by Wildlife SOS http://wildlifesos.org/. Later you will be driven back to Delhi to overnight at the ‘Novotel Aerocity’ for your overnight stay
Mar 31: (Wed) connect with the morning flight to Jabalpur. On arrival transfer to Bandhavgarh (a journey of approximately 5 hours), check in to the ‘Bandhav Vilas’, rest of evening at leisure (*park closed on Wednesday afternoons, alternate guided activities taken outside the park*)

Apr 03: morning and afternoon jeep safari inside Bandhavgarh National Park
Apr 04: (Sun) morning and afternoon jeep safari inside Bandhavgarh National Park
Apr 05: morning and afternoon jeep safari inside Bandhavgarh National Park
Apr 06: morning jeep safari inside Bandhavgarh National Park. Later you will be transferred to Jabalpur airport to connect with the evening flight to Kolkata, departs 19:25 and arrives 21:50. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the ‘Pride Plaza’ for your overnight stay
Apr 07: morning transfer to the domestic terminal to connect with a morning Indigo flight to Jorhat, departs 10:30 and arrives 12:00. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the ‘Infinity Kaziranga Resort’ (a journey of approximately 3 hours), rest of afternoon free for birding on foot around the lodge grounds, or consider a visit to a nearby tribal village with a lodge guide
Apr 08: (Thur) morning jeep safari (eastern range) and afternoon jeep safari (central range) inside Kaziranga National Park. Between safaris, focus on social/ village photography
Apr 09: morning and afternoon jeep safaris inside Kaziranga National Park (central range)
Apr 10: morning jeep safari (western range) and afternoon jeep safari (far western range) inside Kaziranga National Park
Apr 11: morning jeep safari (central range) and afternoon jeep safari (western range) inside Kaziranga National Park
Apr 12: morning transfer to the ‘Thengal Manor’ near Jorhat. Later a visit to the sanctuary, looking for various primates, includingstumped tailed macaque and pig tailed macaque, also slow loris
Apr 13: (Tues) after breakfast, transfer to Jorhat airport to connect with the Indigo flight to Kolkata, departs 12:30 and arrives 14:15. On arrival you will be transferred to check in to the ‘Pride Plaza’ for your overnight stay
Apr 14: when appropriate you will be transferred to Kolkata international airport to connect with your flight home
