In summer there is nowhere like the Farnes to photograph breeding seabirds.
Sir David Attenborough cited it as his favourite British wildlife location, and no wonder - the summer skies, seas and cliffs are a kaleidoscope of puffin, razorbill, guillemot, cormorant, shag and eider, plus sandwich, common, arctic and roseate terns.

We'll have terrific opportunities for flight shots, and we'll often get close enough to almost touch the cliff dwellers and their chicks.
Plus there's always a chance of gannet, seal, minke whale, porpoise or dolphin on the journey out and back!
And on this workshop you'll have the option to try your hand at DSLR videography with BBC natural history presenter and film maker Trai Anfield too!

Beginner friendly - come and learn new techniques!
