Tyne by night

There have been days recently when relentless cold, rain, snow and howling wind have put me off filming – not least because in a gale it’s hard to stop a long lens wobbling for enough time to get a steady shot, especially at night when longer exposures are needed. But on Sunday night I decided to test out kit ahead of my upcoming trip to Iceland, and literally braced myself against the fury of a force 9 funnelling down the Tyne. It’s always worth being brave though, and I bagged some long exposure shots that I’m pretty happy with for a first effort. See what you think…
